RV Resort on Chesapeake Bay

This national RV park chain needed a high-level wastewater treatment system

Just look at those Tall Pines!

The high strength influent from this RV park in America’s most sensitive watershed required high-level wastewater treatment.

This RV Park is right on America’s most sensitive water body.

When we say, “high-level wastewater treatment,” here’s what we mean:

process flow diagram showing high-level wastewater treatment
Notice the BOD reduction from 950 mg/L to under 10 mg/L

This process flow diagram depicts a BOD reduction of almost 99%. For reference, standard secondary wastewater treatment such as with a municipal sewer plant must reduce by 85%.

Not only does this system take out almost all organics, it reduces nitrogen by 94% and sanitizes the effluent through a UV disinfection reactor.

THEN it discharges to a subsurface drip disposal system like this:

Talk about high-level wastewater treatment!
